Welcome to The ChessWiki

A collaborative, community-driven wiki gathering the best insights, openings, pawn structures, endgame theory, and training methods for players of all levels.

About The Wiki

This is a community-driven, wiki-style website dedicated to gathering the best insights, strategies, and tips for every stage of the game, whether you're looking to sharpen your openings, master the endgame, or find practical advice on how to efficiently improve your chess. The Chess University was founded by me, Vidar Grahn. I’m a FIDE Master from Sweden, and you might already know me from my YouTube channel, ZigZagChess, or from my Lichess account, Zig_Zag_Zug_Zwang. My goal is to grow this platform into a massive collaborative resource. In the future, I hope to see more players join the community and contribute to the wiki, especially strong, knowledgeable players who want to share their expertise. If you want to be a part of the journey, chat about chess, or help build this resource, we'd love to have you.
